Pushpender, a 14-year-old boy from the village of Ittawa, has lived with a physical and emotional scar since childhood. At just 4 years old, while playing with a stick, he tragically lost one of his eyes. With his parents being illiterate and unaware of the importance of medical care, the injury went unnoticed and untreated until he turned 8. By then, it was too late to restore his vision, and with no free health facilities available in the village, Pushpender grew up without help.
Though we at Care for Health wish we had reached him earlier, we still have the opportunity to help him now. With modern cosmetic treatments such as contact lenses or tattooing, we can significantly improve his appearance and bring back the smile that his childhood injury took away. Your support can help restore Pushpender’s confidence and give him a brighter future.
