Dharamwati, a 65-year-old woman from a small village, has endured more hardship than most. After tragically losing her young son, who was her family’s only breadwinner, she found herself struggling not just emotionally but physically. Over the years, diabetes began to take a severe toll on her health, leading to significant vision loss. With no means to afford medical care, she feared losing her eyesight entirely.
When Care for Health learned about Dharamwati’s plight during one of our health camps, we knew we had to help. We arranged a free consultation with an eye specialist, who diagnosed her condition and provided the necessary treatment to stabilize her vision. While she has seen some improvement, she still requires cataract surgery to fully restore her eyesight and improve her quality of life.
You can make a difference in Dharamwati’s life by supporting her cataract surgery. Together, we can ensure she regains her vision and hope for the future. Your support can be the light at the end of her tunnel.
